ECFR: Level 4
The Level 4 Award for Emergency Care for First Responders (RQF) is the progression route for First Responders after conducting ECFR Level 3. This will teach you the skills required to work as a first responder accepted by many NHS Trusts for working as an Ambulance Care Technician. The qualification is still being developed but will likely cover the following:

Advanced Scene Safety
The practicalities of common emergency scenes and reporting
Bleeding Management
The use of equipment to stop different types of bleeding.
Airway Management & O2
Giving O2 and NO2 and good airway management by using various tools.
Immediate Life Support
ILS, identifying and drawing up life-saving drugs, advanced medical interventions and much more.
